Japanese Scales

An original collection that reimagines melodies inspired by traditional Japanese musical scales through a contemporary orchestral sound.

The piece based on the Ritsu scale unfolds with a solemn and dignified character, evoking a distinctly Japanese atmosphere and a deep sense of resonance.

The piece based on the Yona-nuki scale begins with a familiar, nostalgic melody before gradually building into a grand orchestral climax.

Blending the distinctive tonal character of Japanese scales with orchestral expression reminiscent of classical music and cinematic scores, this collection presents an original musical vision by rutekia.
