She has been possessed by a demon, so an exorcism is performed

The child's room is decorated in light blue, giving it a refreshing and cute atmosphere

We proceed with the preparations without her noticing

As part of the ritual, we take her outside and walk around for a bit

When we return to the room and are ready to begin, we find her torso has fallen off somewhere

So we go looking for it as only her head and limbs remain

We quickly find her torso, so we return to the room, lay her on a small futon, and cover her with a comforter

When she is not possessed by a demon, she is just a normal, cute girl

So we feel bad about tormenting her by performing the ritual

The opening track "chiisana akuma" reproduces the same patching as Abe Kobo's KORG MS-20, followed by "at a speed never seen before" which gradually amplifies its ritualistic repetition, and the latter half, "in a world where loneliness has become the norm" which, in both Japanese and English, describes a world where solitude has become the norm.

    drop is a Japanese duo, formed in 2001 Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The members are "j" (songwriter, guitar, bass, drum, keyboards and programming) and "a" (songwriter, vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and cello). Songs are usually recorded at home studio using old instruments like mellotron, clavinet, solina, jupiter-8 with an essence of vintage effectors.
