attic
attic will release their 6th digital single, "Twins," on Friday, June 12, 2026. This track serves as the pre-release lead single from their highly anticipated 1st album, "saison," scheduled for release on July 31 of the same year.
Inspired by Paul Klee's painting "Twins", the song is a warm middle-tempo ballad that depicts all the "neighbors (Twins) " who share the same world, era, and space. While rooted in attic's signature jazz-infused chord progressions, the track elevates it into a nostalgic yet fresh melody reminiscent of 2000s J-POP greats such as aiko, Spitz, Ikimonogakari, and Motohiro Hata.
"Twins" was composed by Masato Shirahata (Ba) and Ayami Watai (Vo), with lyrics written by Ayami Watai (Vo).
