unRealless – 1st Album『UNREAL』
東京を拠点に活動する4人組ロックバンド・unReallessによる、初のフルアルバム『UNREAL』が完成した。全11曲。レコーディングからミックス、マスタリングに至るまで全てを自分たちの手で行い、音も言葉も1音1音に「今の全力」が宿る作品となっている。
unReallessの音楽には、異なる音楽的バックグラウンドを持つ4人の個性が溶け合い、時に衝突しながらも、どこか“新しい何か”を予感させる緊張感と温度がある。作曲者が2人いることで、曲ごとに異なる色を持ちながらも、バンドとしての軸は決してブレない。それがこの作品全体に、多面的でありながら一貫性のある聴き心地をもたらしている。
アルバムは、力強いボーカルで幕を開ける「Wake up」から始まる。閉塞感の中でもがきながら、それでも前を向こうとする決意が、ダイナミックなサウンドとともに炸裂する。アルバム中盤には、「どうしても忘れられない人」への想いを抱えながら、それでも一歩踏み出そうとする恋愛ソングが静かに心を打つ。そしてラストを飾る「song four」では、メンバー4人と、音を聴いてくれる“あなた”とでこの曲を完成させてほしいという願いが込められている。
今作『UNREAL』に込めたのは、「これから」進んでいくという決意と、まだ見ぬ景色への期待が、確かに鳴り響いている。
