A breaking point, and a breath that refuses to stop.
"Goodbye Lame Duck" is a rock-driven anthem by yuna that captures the fragile space between stagnation and rebirth.

Built around the metaphor of a "lame duck"-something unable to move forward-the song paints a raw emotional landscape through images of broken pens, fading roots of life, and a heartbeat filled with noise. It reflects a quiet truth: even when it feels like no one is watching, you are still facing yourself.

The track begins in a heavy, dragging state of despair, but shifts as the line "this is my distress signal" ignites a turning point. Instead of relying on hope or prayer alone, the song finds meaning in something more immediate-the simple fact of still being alive, still breathing.

It's a farewell to the version of oneself that couldn't move, and a declaration to start rewriting one's own story.
"Goodbye Lame Duck" stands as a powerful, introspective anthem of survival, acceptance, and quiet resurgence.
