In 2023, the four-piece band, Rubens, emerged suddenly onto the live house scene in Tokyo. Known for their catchy yet quirky song structures and arrangements, combined with gentle vocals, they quickly garnered attention. In June 2024, they released the single "Tenshi-san", which gained significant recognition both domestically and internationally.
