Recording In Progress is an urban legend inspired song about an unexplained feeling of unease in Gotanda at four in the morning.
A quiet intersection.
A convenience store that never closes.
People waiting for the first train.
Nothing unusual appears to happen.
Yet whenever someone passes a certain security camera, they suddenly stop talking.
Drunk office workers.
Night shift employees.
Groups of strangers.
They hide their phones, lower their eyes, and quietly walk away.
Nobody explains why.
Rather than a story about surveillance, Recording In Progress explores the unsettling feeling that everyone knows a rule that you do not.
