Lyric

TENNESSEE (Remix)

Momoko Iwasaki

It’s not the river

It used to be

It’s not the water

It used to be

I’m not a girl

I used to be

And there is nothing

That does not change

In this world

I’m dreaming to be in your eyes

I’m dreaming to be in your ears

Beside a Cumberland River

Of Tennessee

I’m thinking

The reason why the wind is blowing

It’s not the air

It used to be

In my youth

We carried our guitars

So that we did not have to

Carry the future

We had eaten

Breaking the chunk of bread

But I was still hungry

And singing

There is nothing

That does not change

In this world

I’m dreaming to be in your eyes

I’m dreaming to be in your ears

Beside a Cumberland River

Of Tennessee

I’m thinking

The reason why the sun is rising

The reason why the sun is rising
