Artist Profile

yoshikimasuda
Composer and sound designer. Born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1996. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with a degree in Music Environment Creation, but dropped out of graduate school. He thinks about how humans can live healthy, fulfilling lives with peace of mind, using sound and music as a starting point. Specifically, he works with sound-related techniques such as recording, composition, sound synthesis, and spatial acoustics to create works related to sound in fields such as theater, art, film, and spatial exhibitions. Since 2018, he has been the leader of the ensemble group "Kasanegi Listband," which expresses the relationship between communication and performance in its performances. In 2022, he released an album titled "Searching for Biotope" with a theme exploring his relationship with his hometown in northern Kanto and Tokyo.
