Artist Profile

• NakamekunGold

A hip-hop unit consisting of GashGold and JunGold. The chemistry that sparked between Gash (GashGold) and Jun (JunGold) happened when they met as customers at Gash's izakaya, Nakame-kun, located in Nakameguro. Named Nakame-kun Gold after the izakaya, the unit's name was chosen to shine even brighter. Their music is rooted in hip-hop, but they also incorporate influences from genres like dancehall, creating a mixed, yet pop-like sound that stands out. Two middle-aged men create sentimental hip-hop, that is sure to leave an impression.
