本作「ゴック」は、ベトナム語で「愚かさ」「間抜けさ」を意味する ngốc を唯一のモチーフとして反復し続ける、極端にミニマルで挑発的なラップ作品である。
意味を持つ言葉が、回数を重ねることで次第にノイズへと変質していく構造は、
現代社会に溢れる「思考停止した言葉」「理解されないまま消費される感情」そのものを象徴している。
フックでは「ゴック」という単語を100回連続で叩きつけることで、
知性や説明を放棄したコミュニケーションの暴力性と、
それでもなお耳に残り続ける中毒性を同時に提示する。
しかし、この楽曲が指差している“ゴック”は、他者への罵倒ではない。
繰り返し鳴り続ける言葉の渦の中で、
思考することをやめ、流行や空気に身を委ねてしまう
聴き手自身の姿が、徐々に浮かび上がってくる。
Mr.510 NEETは本作で、
「愚かさを笑う側」と「愚かさを生きてしまう側」の境界を意図的に崩し、
現代の情報過多社会における空虚さを、最も単純な一語だけで描き切った。
「ゴック」は、説明を拒否しながらも、
聴く者に問いだけを残す、極めてラディカルな記録である。
