Indiacanoe is an alternative rock band active all over the country, mainly in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. Vo, Gt Kai, Dr. Toku-chan, who write and compose, were formed as initial members, and after several member changes, Gt, Akkun, Ba, Gigi joined, making it a four-member group. In April 2021, we released our first sound source EP Funned, and from August we released Refreshing shell, Fly away and Disease for 3 consecutive months, and in October 2022 we released Kimiwoniyaritosasetemiyou. After pre-releasing Temiyo, they released the EP Hibana in February 2023. It has been decided that the new EP "Innocence of morning sun" will be released from EVOL RECORDS on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. This work consists of two new songs, "Sugar Cannon Ball" and "Tabula rasa beyond the night sky " and three re-recorded songs from the early days of the band's career, "alcohol" "I love you, wandering around in the middle of the night " and "Refreshing shell" Contains songs. Shunichi Yoshioka, who was in charge of music producer The Strokes, MIYAVI, Kenichi Asai, w.o.d., and MOWMOW LULU GYABAN, was appointed for production, recording, and mix. Based on the concept of "realism," it was recorded in one take, resulting in a powerful sound source that sounds just like a live performance.It has a unique post-punk feel to it, but the emotional development of the song and phrasing are top-notch. The powerful singing voice of Vo and Gt and the unique choice of words add color to the world view and make it a great listen.
