DJ Mitsu the Beats, the world-renowned producer and member of Sendai hip-hop crew GAGLE, is set to release his new single "Butterfly" on Friday, February 27th. The track features singer-songwriter ZIN, a prominent member of the R&B/Soul-focused artist collective Soulflex.

The song is a love story centered on the themes of peace and love-an alternative R&B masterpiece woven together by DJ Mitsu the Beats' signature laid-back jazzy beats, melodic piano, and the soft embrace of a flute.

"Butterfly" is a sublime ballad born from a prayer: amidst the "quiet daily life" we often take for granted, it acknowledges a reality filled with constant conflict and anxiety. Like the gentle flutter of a butterfly's wings, the song carries the wish for a world where everyone can find peace and happiness as soon as possible.

The cover art was created by Masato Maekawa (tAnkers Inc.), who is widely active as an illustrator and creative director.
