Theme From OILJIN

OIL JIN

OIL JIN 's 13-track debut full-length album, *ORIGIN*, is finally here.
It includes "I Wanna Be Your Judas," "Tapir Song," and "Daydream" -songs that have been performed live since the band's days under their former name, "RANCHIKIGAI." Additionally, "Love Song," "Working," and "Interface" -released as singles last year- are included here with bold new arrangements.
Featuring "Metamorphosis" with Matcha on vocals, "Sukura," where Tomato-chan's world explodes, and completely new tracks never before performed live such as "Disco Night" and "Theme From OILJIN," this album is a concentrated blend of the chaos and pop sensibility unique to OIL JIN. Guest musicians include Takeda Gandhi (from Zibaku) on synth for "NODOBOKO" and Koyama (from Hikaribunkai) on saxophone for "SCRA." Completed after approximately one year of production, this is a monumental work that traces the origins of OIL JIN, titled "ORIGIN".

Artist Profile

  • OIL JIN

Formed in Tokyo in 2023 as "RANCHIKIGAI" centered around Fumie (Vo, Gt). Released their 1st EP "Outtakes" in 2024, followed by their 2nd EP "Out of Outtakes" the next month. Held their first fully donation-based/self-organized live event "Out of Parties" @ Sasazuka Majestic Studio in October. On April 1, 2025, the group renamed itself "OILJIN". They released the singles "Love Song", "Executioner", and "Interface" consecutively during summer-fall 2025. In November 2025, they held their self-organized event "Shiopandekichauyo" at Shimokitazawa SPREAD. Their music, born from each member's background, encompasses post-punk, J-POP, hardcore, dub, and psychedelic elements. Unbound by conventional rock band structures, they redefine themselves as "all of you in music."
