The debut single "Voices to Echo" by the up-and-coming trackmaker Keita Kobayashi, through his one-man band "SEDAN," will be released on April 16.
Keita Kobayashi, who is also active as a trackmaker in the sibling unit "Ross Moody" and in the project "Charlie" with former RIP SLYME member PES, is behind the one-man band "SEDAN." For this project, he is responsible for all instrumentals and programming, and for the first time, he takes on the role of vocalist.
The track was created entirely by Kobayashi, from the lyrics and composition to the mixing and mastering. It was produced through his "Singing Diary" project, where he turns the things he feels in daily life into lyrics and shares them on social media. This song captures the changes he experienced, including the anxieties and excitement of challenging himself to sing for the first time as "SEDAN." The sound features an alternative blend of dance music influences with elements of rock.
The artwork for the single was designed by Keiya Tabakoshi, who is part of Kobayashi's project "Smells Like Cars." The design is inspired by the repetitive patterns found in kimono designs and represents the theme of "voice and echo."
On the day of the digital release, a music video for the track will be released on the "SEDAN" YouTube channel at 8:00 PM.
SEDAN is a one-man band created by trackmaker Kaita Kobayashi. He creates an alternative sound by blending early 2000s rock with tracks influenced by house and hip-hop. In 2025, he released the single "Voice is Echo." Kobayashi started his career as a trackmaker for Ross Moody in 2019, and is currently also active as a trackmaker for the unit Charie, which features former RIP SLYME member PES.
