ammonite2000 is a mutant musical entity born on Benten-dori in Kichijoji, Musashino, Tokyo. Formed at the end of 2020 by five people who used to gather in Kichijoji on a daily basis at Bar Cheeky, a spot on Benten-dori, ammonite2000 is a mutant musical entity born out of Kichijoji, Musashi-shi, Tokyo. Fronted by Psychedelic Nang Chang, one of Kichijoji's leading MCs, the five members consist of Vo./Gt./Ba./Key./Dr. and have been leaving their mark in various music scenes and bars. Reggae/Dub/Jazz/Soul/Hiphop/R&B/Soul/Funk/Hardcore/Punk/Metal/Noise/Ambient/Psychedelic/Rock/etc.... Each member has a completely different musical background, but they are not biased or conscious of any of them, and through repeated sessions in a spontaneous manner, they have come to realize that they have created a natural and unorthodox music.
