Kawasaki-based trackmaker/DJ/rapper/reggae soundman TeQ Okuwaki has released a 7-track EP "Desert Tones" on the beatmaker label "XXX//PEKE//XXX"!
The EP also includes "Blakey Jazz" and "Dejoh Jazz," both of which were released as preceding singles, and all of the songs are cutting-edge and innovative, making it a highly listenable work.
While jazz elements are at the root of the EP, the sound is so ambitious, roaring, and bankish that the word "alternative" does not fully describe it, and yet the charm of "Okuwaki Tetsukyu" that cannot be contained by initial impulses alone is fully condensed in this EP. I want you to feel it with your whole body.

Since he was a teenager, he has been silently making tracks while working as a reggae sound, sometimes rapping, releasing songs as if he remembered from various labels, and continuing to provide tracks and mix to rappers. Started the jazz series as a new interpretation of free jazz as a sound collage and dubwise.
