Now then, let us begin today's lesson about society.
Many social studies teachers do not truly know the real world of society.
Why is that?
Because they became teachers directly after being students themselves,
without ever truly stepping into the real working world.
A part-time job alone cannot fully explain society.
This song reflects the society I personally experienced.
But only recently did I realize that this is not the entirety of society itself.
So please understand-this is not the whole truth.
Working adults who deeply relate to these lyrics are probably...
yes, the kind of people drinking very strong coffee every day.
One person supporting me listened to this song and said,
"Society sounds scary... I don't want to work."
But that is not the message I wanted to convey.
Maybe parents who work every day carry feelings like these inside themselves,
fighting desperately for the sake of their families.
I wanted people to understand that.
Because then, when they come home,
maybe you'll naturally say:
"Welcome home."
"Thank you for always working so hard."
I want people to become interested in what it truly means to work.
What kind of feelings parents carry,
and what kind of jobs they do.
I hope this song can add even the smallest warmth to family conversations.
