Mabataki (feat. Terumasa Seto)
RaGmy
"Mabataki" is a collaborative single created through the joint work of composer/producer Terumasa Seto - who wrote, composed, and arranged the track - and Ishigaki Island-based singer-songwriter RaGmy.
Cherished and performed live by RaGmy since around 2020, this long-awaited song has finally been fully produced after six years. The arrangement seamlessly blends organic textures with electronic precision: gentle notes of piano and sanshin (Okinawan lute) are complemented by elegant string arrangements (violin and viola) by violinist Shuko Seita, anchored by deep synth bass and atmospheric sound design.
Framed with a photographer's delicate gaze - evoking fleeting memories through lyrics like "overexposed white" and "unbelievable colors of the sky" - the track fuses RaGmy's clear, translucent vocals with a quiet, lingering aura to create a unique organic electro-pop experience.
