  TATZ is a Japanese singer-songwriter and guitarist from Ishikawa, Japan. He began studying music at a young age and later moved to Tokyo after high school to attend a guitar-focused music college. Since then, he has gained experience through band activities, support musician work, and studio recording sessions, earning recognition as a guitarist along the way. While most of his career was spent as a performer, a meaningful experience with one of his original songs inspired him to pursue songwriting and music production more seriously. TATZ creates music rooted in guitar rock, blending emotional electric guitar melodies and solos with modern electronic elements and programming. His sound combines the energy of a band with the freedom of independent production. On July 24, 2025, he launched a long-term project to release a new song on the 24th of every month. The idea came from his personal connection to the number 24, including his own birthday on June 24. By committing to a monthly release schedule, he challenges himself to keep growing as an artist while building a body of work that reflects who he is today. His goal is to release 100 songs over the course of approximately eight years. Many of his songs explore themes such as personal growth, changing landscapes, uncertainty, hope, and the courage to take the next step forward. Through releases like Blue ni Kawaru,Yoru no Mama de, Hikaru Hou e, and others, he continues to create an interconnected musical world that evolves with each song. TATZ often begins writing from the chorus, expanding each song around a central emotion or message. His lyrics favor simple and honest words that listeners can connect with in their own way. He currently performs without revealing his face, believing that music should leave room for imagination and curiosity. Rather than focusing on appearance, he hopes listeners will connect with the sound, the stories, and the feelings behind each song. Music has made his own life richer, and his goal is to create songs that become part of someone else's everyday life. A new song. Every month. Every 24th. TATZ.
