Lyric

Burn the bridges

CHASED

Growing cold

There’s still an ember left

Hold on to it

That’s your hope

You can run away

You can hide

Chasing the season

理由を無くして

Don't fall asleep

Come with me

Shatter the silence

Break through this world

My words linger in your heart like echoes

Raise the Ember

There’s no way back home

断ち切る闇に

別れを

Growing Cold

There’s still an ember left

Hold on to it

That’s your hope

You can run away

You can hide

Take it away

My breath and heartbeat are nothing but lies

Shatter the silence

Break through this world

My words linger in your heart like echoes

Raise the Ember

There’s no way back home

断ち切る闇に

別れを

Last ember, stay

Shatter the silence

Break through this world

My words linger in your heart like echoes

Raise the Ember

There’s no way back home

断ち切る闇に

別れを

PARAVOID

CHASED

CHASED - 1st Full Album PARAVOID
This is not music made to escape.
It is music about choosing an escape route in order to survive.
Osaka-based rock band CHASED presents their first full-length album, PARAVOID.
The title combines PARA, suggesting something beside or beyond the ordinary, with VOID, representing emptiness and the spaces left behind in an increasingly overwhelming world. PARAVOID explores the idea of creating an escape route from a world that leaves little room to breathe.
Across 15 tracks, CHASED moves freely between loud rock, emo, pop punk, alternative rock, and electronic elements, breaking down the boundaries between genres and bringing contrasting sounds into a single world.
Light and darkness.
Hope and despair.
Reality and illusion.
Rather than choosing between them, PARAVOID embraces the contradictions and keeps moving forward.
A record for those trying to find their way through uncertainty.
An escape route, and a reason to keep going.
For those walking through the VOID-
there is still a place to return to.

Artist Profile

  • CHASED

Their music presents unresolved emotions and unorganized thoughts, leaving space for interpretation rather than offering clear answers. What remains is not a conclusion, but something left uncollected. It does not point to a place of refuge, nor does it deny the position of those who cannot hold one. Their stance refuses to demand answers from emotion itself.
