T-STONE emerged victorious from a field of over 1,000 contestants at "ROAD TO AH1," an audition and battle event featuring up-and-coming rappers. This track, "Koko Kara," authentically captures the determination to take on the AH1 main stage on May 3, 2026, as well as the tension and inner struggles leading up to victory. It is a song that truly marks the beginning of a new chapter.

T-STONE
Born on March 28, 1999, in Tokushima, Japan, he is a hip-hop artist known for his stylish and powerful presence, humorous lyricism, and distinctive husky voice with a sharp edge. In 2017, he won the Tokushima qualifying round of the MC battle competition UMB, going on to claim the title three consecutive years through 2019. He gained wider attention after appearing on the Japanese rap battle program Freestyle Dungeon, followed by the release of PURPLE GARDEN in 2018 and his first EP, APOSTROPHE, in 2019. In 2021, he released his second EP, INDEPENDENT, and relocated to Tokyo to further pursue his career. That same year, his track Lets Get Eat went viral on TikTok, reaching No. 1 on Billboard Japans weekly TikTok chart. In 2022, drawing from his own personal experiences, he released his first full-length album, Type 1 Diabetes, which reached No. 4 on the iTunes Store Hip-Hop Rap chart in Japan. In 2024, he released GONG feat. Watson and Bonbero, followed by his third EP, Ai, inspired by Tokushimas traditional indigo dyeing culture, and its sequel, Ai ii. He also embarked on an 11-city nationwide tour. In 2025, he completed the series with Ai Final and successfully held a solo show at Shibuya WWW on April 29. In December 2025, he released the collaborative EP 120 with Korean rapper NSW yoon. In 2026, he took first place out of more than 1,000 applicants in ROAD TO AH1, a competition offering a performance slot at AH1, one of Japans largest hip-hop festivals. He went on to perform on the festivals main stage. With emotionally charged live performances and sincere, powerful messages at the core of his music, he continues to push forward at the forefront of Japans hip-hop scene.
