The first instalment of a concept series focusing on Japanese culture.
This drill music was created using traditional Japanese instruments such as taiko drums, shakuhachi flutes, koto zithers, and shamisen string instruments, as well as ryuteki flutes, nohkan flutes, shō mouth organs familiar in gagaku court music, and Buddhist instruments such as mokugyo wooden fish and kō bells throughout the entire piece.
It also combines traditional Japanese folk songs and sutras.
The sutra used in this piece is the Kōmyō Shingon.
Listening to this piece alone is sure to bring you blessings.
