On a midsummer afternoon, the performance was inspired by towering cumulonimbus clouds slowly rising beyond Mt Ikoma, carrying the quiet promise of approaching rain.
Layers of guitar drones and naturally unfolding harmonies create a floating soundscape, while gently shifting resonances drift like clouds dissolving into the open sky.
It became a moment where past and present quietly met. The memories of making music together and the echoes of those shared moments quietly resonated deep within my heart.
The title "Pianissimo" comes from the musical marking meaning "to play very softly," while "Page" represents a series of sonic and poetic entries - quiet records of sound and time. Like a small musical journal gently blending into each listener's moments of silence, I hope this work accompanies life softly, as if it were quietly breathing beside you.
