Low Lilac, an electro band from Miyagi Prefecture, is releasing "Toumei Invader," their first new song in about a year and a half.
This track marks the first step toward a comeback for the band, which had nearly come to a halt following a move to Tokyo and lineup changes.
The title, "Transparent Invader," interprets the modern-day malaise that everyone faces-"Who am I?"-through the lens of a "predator."
Depicting the process of growing while gradually absorbing elements from the surroundings, this track is a killer tune that resonates not only with troubled youth but with people of all ages.
Musically, while retaining the beats characteristic of a band with a dance-rock backbone, the song leans fully into synth-pop, resulting in a track that presents a new form of pop distinct from traditional rock sounds. The ethereal tones seem to celebrate the new beginning of the reborn Low Lilac.
To coincide with this release, the band has revamped their artist photos and visuals, and plans to release a music video.
We hope you'll follow along as Low Lilac, having made a confident return to the scene, continues to accelerate both their music and their activities.

Artist Profile

  • Low Lilac

A three-piece rock band based in Sendai formed in 2022 by vocalist/guitarist Yuito Tashiro. With a glittering electro sound as its core, the lyrics that cast a shadow over the pop melody, combined with the imbalance, weave a unique worldview. The group plans to move its base to Tokyo in spring 2025 and will continue to be active thereafter.
