A fellow racer Ive competed alongside all this time is retiring.

Our bond grew gradually over the yearsfrom the days we first met and gathered on weekends to hone our skills and race against one another. I wrote a song to capture that journey we shared.

Having retired earlier myself to focus on my career, I know all too well how hard it becomes to see each other once our circumstances change.

Thats why I want us to cherish the time we spent together; even as we walk our separate paths from here on out, lets promise to get together againto raise a glass at an *izakaya*whenever the moment calls for it.
