Lyric

Spring arrives

Summer passes

Autumn winds begin to blow

Winter falls asleep

And then

Spring comes again

For thousands of years

The seasons have turned

Melted snow runs down

From the mountains to the earth

Tiny shoots begin to rise

And new life comes to birth

Flowers open to the sky

Birds begin to sing

Winter fades into the past

And once again comes spring

Someone is born

Someone says goodbye

Joy and tears

Are carried by the wind

People come and go

But the seasons still remain

Beautiful seasons

Oh, beautiful seasons

Spring into summer

Summer into fall

Fall into winter

Then spring comes back again

Lives are born

Lives fade away

Beautiful seasons

Forever turning on

Summer fills the sky

Cicadas sing all day

Festival lights are dancing

As the sun fades away

Golden fields are swaying

Mountains turn to red

Then the winter snow arrives

And covers everything

But beneath the frozen earth

New life waits again

People long ago

Must have watched the same moon

Felt the same wind

Loved the same flowers too

Their days became memories

But the seasons carried on

Beautiful seasons

Oh, beautiful seasons

Spring into summer

Summer into fall

Fall into winter

Then spring comes back again

People come and go

But the seasons still remain

Beautiful seasons

Forever turning on

Across the distant ocean

Marco Polo told the tale:

A golden country waiting

Somewhere beyond the waves

But was the treasure really gold?

Or could it have been

A land of changing seasons—

Spring flowers

Summer green

Autumn harvest

Winter snow?

A beauty that has lived

For thousands of years

Beautiful seasons

Oh, beautiful seasons

Turning through the ages

Through a thousand years and more

Flowers bloom

Flowers fall

And new life rises once again

Someone laughs

Someone cries

Someone is born

Someone says goodbye

Still the seasons turn

As they always have before

Beautiful seasons

Forever turning on

Spring arrives

Summer passes

Autumn winds begin to blow

Winter falls asleep

And then

Spring comes again

Beautiful seasons

Beautiful seasons
