Again

SATOSHI

I know well

What I should do

Still choose wrong

Again

I hate the road

I take each time

I know why

Still go

I want good

Yet fail again

I turn back

Too late

I hide my face

From what I did

I ask why

No change

Yet

I rise

Once more

From dust

Still

I turn

Back now

Again

Now

I own

My wrong

No lies

Hope

Still lives

In me

Again

I lose grip

On what is right

I want peace

But stray

I feed the flame

Then curse the burn

I know truth

Still lie

I wake cold

With shame on me

I face dawn

Half blind

I name the wound

I let light in

I start small

Again

Yet

I rise

Once more

From dust

Still

I turn

Back now

Again

Now

I own

My wrong

No lies

Hope

Still lives

In me

Again

Yet

I rise

Once more

From dust

Still

I turn

Back now

Again

Now

I own

My wrong

No lies

Hope

Still lives

In me

Again

    SATOSHI

"Again" is a dark R&B track about the weakness that leads us back to the same mistakes, even when we know better-and the strength to get up and try once more.

Carrying regret and shame, the song follows the quiet journey of facing our faults and slowly moving forward. No matter how many times we fall, hope still lives within us-a song that finds a gentle light in the darkness.

Artist Profile

  • SATOSHI

SATOSHI is a Japanese composer and producer whose music draws on classical harmony, sacred and liturgical traditions, folk music from around the world, and Japanese melodic sensibilities. Moving across post-rock, blackgaze, dark ambient, trip-hop, and abstract hip-hop, he combines layered vocals, massive drones, tremolo-driven guitars, breakbeats, and profound silence to explore prayer, loss, hope, and the boundary between civilization and nature. The contemporary reimagining of traditional hymns and folk melodies is central to his work, transforming them through his own artistic vision while bringing the beauty of the originals to new audiences. His YouTube channel has surpassed 88,000 subscribers, and he collaborates with vocalists and artists from around the world. His music has also been featured at an official football event held at a national stadium outside Japan. ECLESIAH is the project through which SATOSHI embodies "Sacredgaze," a musical world of his own conception where prayer, silence, darkness, and overwhelming sound converge, reconnecting the sacred with contemporary musical expression.
