    Formed in 2006 by Panther (Guitar), JOE (Drums), and Kenjiro Murai (Bass) after leaving the 4th lineup of SEX MACHINEGUNS, the band is known for its unorthodox dual identity: as an instrumental unit they perform under the name ELLEGUNS, while with vocals they appear as the CYCLE. Their signature instrumentals are technical, aggressive compositions rooted in heavy metal. Yet when vocals are added, their music transforms into highly accessible pop. This seamless ability to shift between extremes is a defining trait of the trio. Vocalists including Tsuyoshi Himura, Kouzy, and AKINO LEE have frequently joined them in both recordings and live performances.
