This song was inspired by the TV anime "Chi. - About the Movement of the Earth," which is based on a manga. It's one of my favorite works, and the word thaumazein (which means surprise or wonder in Greek) is used in the story. It has a philosophical context, but I think that everyone feels different thaumazein, so I chose it as the title. It's a powerful and refreshing song that even people who haven't seen "Chi." can relate to.

    I began my musical journey in 2012, performing as a solo vocalist at live music venues in Tokyo and beyond. In 2014, I joined a five-member rock band and continued my musical activities as part of the group. After the band disbanded, I began creating original music under the name "DATTEE" in 2018. Since 2024, I have also been involved in music video editing and visual production. My unique creative style starts with humming melodies and transforms them into songs filled with personal thoughts and emotions. With heartfelt messages at the core of my music, I strive to create sounds that are truly one of a kind. "I believe in the possibilities of my music, and I will continue moving forward, following my own path."
