Tokyo-based rapper hamma has released a collaborative single, "Dekkee Brand," with fellow Tokyo-based DJ/producer Baile Funk Kakeko.
This work was made possible through a collaboration with Baile Funk Kakeko, who appeared consecutively at vol. 1 and vol. 2 of hamma's BAKIBAKI event and is garnering attention for his upcoming album release in 2025. The highly addictive track, based on the Brazilian percussive rhythm of "baile funk," is fused with hamma's lyrics, which intertwine raw ambition with a mundane perspective.
The track weaves together the naive desire to "sign with a huge brand" with everyday descriptions such as "taking out the trash on Tuesdays," humorously portraying identity and upward mobility in modern society. The track's faster BPM makes it a useful piece for both live performances and DJ sets.

    Rapper/Creator based in Tokyo, Japan. Born in Aichi in 1993, he began his music career in 2019. His 4th single last date, released in April 2020, surpassed 10 million views on TikTok. He released his debut album comma in June 2021, followed by his second album STRUGGLE in September 2023.He has performed at major festivals including JIM BEAM SUMMER FES 2024 in NAGOYA, NEXT2024 in Odaiba, and Apple Music Fes, appearing at the latter for four consecutive years (2022 to 2025).In spring 2025, he launched his own recurring live event series, BAKKIBAKI. A hybrid rapper with a sharp instinct for discovering catchy elements and a unique ability to reframe them through the lens of his everyday life. His grandfather is composer Kazuyoshi Sano.

  • BAILEFUNK KAKEKO

    A DJ/producer focused on baile funk. Active since 2019 as a side project of DJ Nonono. Following the release of the EP TóquioBug in 2020, the project has been active while engaging with local scenes in Brazil and South America. As a producer, DESVIO FULL THROTTLE has provided music for artists such as lyrical school, valknee,Aizen and Felix wang. In recent years, releases via the LA-based label Deathbomb Arc, mix contributions for Rinse France, and activities with the crew tomodachi100 have marked a broad range of work. The project has also been involved in bridge-building activities with Brazil, including inviting artists such as KARAN!, TToten, VHOOR, Caio Prince, and d.silvestre, as well as supporting BADSISTAs Japan shows. The 1st album DESVIO FULL THROTTLE was released on September 3, 2025.
