1st EP ``OIKAZE``
A tailwind to set this EP on course and blow a powerful wind into Ryo's sails.
On June 17, 2026, I released my 1st single "Night club." But in reality, most of the songs on this EP were created before that at the very beginning of my ongoing journey as an artist, rooted in the raw, daily grind. Facing unexpected setbacks and harsh realities on the path to this release taught me the true difficulties of navigating the music industry.
That`s exactly why I'm turning all those past frustrations and struggles into fuel. Using this project as a stepping stone to build my position as an artist, I gave my debut 1st EP the title ``OIKAZE`` (Tailwind).
This EP was brought to life with the support of a talented group of producer friends active in various underground scenes COUCH, Mewji, Niccolò Colella, and f4sho. Featuring Tokyo's SYUGO, our seamless vocal chemistry elevates the dramatic depth of the project.
The key to the EP's overall balance lies in Track 4, "Driving." Produced by Italian producer Niccolò Colella, its chill soundscape brings a refreshing contrast to the earlier tracks, harmonizing the entire project. Carefully arranged by vibe and tempo, the EP flows seamlessly as a unified playlist.
Closing out the project is Track 6, "Snooze" a newly remixed version of a personal favorite I created when I was 20 and originally shared on SoundCloud. It brings the EP to a smooth, satisfying finish.
