Every year, Japan's summer is hot, but the summer of 2025 is an epoch-making scorcher. No proper rainy season, just relentless sunshine, with temperatures barely dropping at night. By August, record-high temperatures are being updated across the country.
But some things never change - like the thrill of summer. There's always a feeling that something exciting is about to happen. We've captured that anticipation and the extreme heat in a single EP. Here's to hoping the summer of 2025 brings special memories to everyone!

pomodorosa
pomodorosa is a musician and illustrator based in Tokyo. His songs are built from fragments of everyday life - things he noticed on a city street, felt while traveling, or simply got obsessed with lately. Written like entries in a personal essay, each track is paired with artwork he creates himself: sound and image, two ways of building the same world from scratch. Rooted in bossa nova and jazz, his music has grown into something distinctly his own - shaped alongside the voice of vocalist Rosa, and quietly finding its way into the daily lives of listeners around the world.
