''Samgyetang'' is the first new release nikiie presents in 2026.
The song portrays the quiet time after an unreciprocated love, following a strong woman who keeps moving forward once the feelings are no longer returned. Realizing that what felt serious wasn't quite the same on the other side is, honestly, painful.
Still, the world goes on, and food somehow still tastes good.
With progressive elements woven into its structure, the track naturally reflects emotional shifts and wandering thoughts, while the lyrics remain grounded and relaxed.
There is no attempt to romanticize sadness here.
Instead, ''Samgyetang'' is about gently pulling yourself back together.
Sitting down with a warm bowl of soup and saying, ''Alright, let's keep going.''

After a year of pleading to her parents, NIKIIE finally had her way and started her piano lessons at the age of 4. In times of confusion and chaos, and trouble adapting to her surroundings, her piano and music was always there to ease the pain and allow her to grow. During the summer of 2004, having realized her limitations to express herself more freely, NIKIIE began writing her own songs. After putting an end to her band activities, she kicked off her solo career at the age of 17, placing a larger focus on her most defining instruments, voice and piano. She major debuted on Dec 1st.2010 with the release of her single "shunkashuutou". In 2011,she released 1st album "*(NOTES)". In 2012,she released 1st EP "hachimitsu e.p.",2nd EP "CHROMATOGRAPHY". In 2013,she released 2nd album "Equal". In 2014,she released 3rd album ''Pianism".
