    Rukiya is a singer-songwriter from Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, born on September 4, 1995. Music is not entertainment alone. It is a cry, a prayer, and a voice for those who cannot speak. Rukiya creates music that confronts loneliness, identity, and human emotional pain. Through deeply personal and honest songwriting, he continues expressing themes that society often avoids discussing. Rejecting conformity to trends and commercial expectations, Rukiya pursues a musical style rooted in solitude, vulnerability, and the fragile beauty of human existence. He began music activities in 2014 by performing street live sessions around Kawasaki and the Yokohama area while working on original songwriting. In 2018, he transitioned from acoustic guitar performance to a hand microphone vocal style to deliver stronger emotional presence on stage. Major releases include: 20 ~ANSWER~ (2019, digital single) Crazy (2020, digital single) Noise (2021, digital single) NOT FAMOUS (2021, album) Soul Breath (2023, nationwide indie distribution via Iris Group Holdings Co., Ltd.) His live performance was broadcast in 2024 on a music program by Chiba Television Broadcasting. In November 2024, Rukiya held his first one man live concert, The Whole of My Life Expression, at ODAWARA Quest. Rukiya continues creating music for people who feel alone, aiming to reach listeners around the world through honest emotional expression.
