To commemorate my 100th original composition, I am releasing the "100 Songs Box Set" as a two-part collection, Part I and Part II. The title, "Supernova Reboot," was chosen to evoke the image of the energy accumulated over these 100 songs shining brightly all at once, like a supernova, and the next creative endeavor being reignited from that light. This is not a collection meant to look back on the past; rather, it signifies a "reboot" that uses these 100 songs as a milestone to move forward toward the 101st song and beyond.
This is Part I of the cover-song version, containing Tracks 1-50. The album cover features a red color scheme. Even though the songs are the same 100 tracks, having people sing them gives the music a different character. This version layers human passion and vitality over the blazing red light of a supernova. While continuing the legacy of the previous cover-song albums, it also serves to tie the entire collection together anew at this milestone of 100 songs.
