Who could have imagined, back at the moment of its birth, that it would grow into a scene of this magnitude...?

SweetestRecords - the legendary independent label that first drew breath in the southern part of Saitama Prefecture in the year 2000.

With zero industry connections, no capital, and no network to speak of, armed with nothing but a single Roland VS-1880 hard disk recorder, they began at the tiny live house KYARA in Kita-Urawa.

From there, they swallowed up not only Saitama, but Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba as well - eventually storming the biggest stages: Shibuya O-WEST, O-EAST, the now-legendary Shibuya AX, Zepp Tokyo, and finally even the hallowed ground of rock history, Shibuya kōkaidō.

Countless unknown artists - from teenagers to veterans - were lifted by this label and placed under those dazzling spotlights.

Now, a quarter of a century later, a true buried treasure has been unearthed.

The second compilation album, originally released on CD-R in an extremely limited run of fewer than 100 copies, has finally been excavated and is now available on all streaming platforms.

Among its tracks is the rare live piece "The Corridor the Wind Raced Through ~Kaze ga Kakenuketa Kairō~ " by the band Kojirō, a song performed only a handful of times in their live shows.

This band once earned high praise from former CASIOPEA members Minoru Mukaiya and Akira Jimbo, who declared,
"This band is good enough to release to the world as it is."
