A once-in-a-century typhoon caused immense damage in various places, but it neatly avoided my house.

Sometimes, I'm alone in the middle of the night,
jumping onto a bus with no destination in mind.

Becoming part of the iron and bones of a chaotic multi-level junction,
becoming a body that's merely transported,
becoming a light on the side that passes by.

A beautiful rice ball, one in a thousand, left behind at a service area.

A real lucky cat, one in 10,000, left unsold at a pet shop,
now a popular mascot cat,
happily fat and thriving business.

I feel like I've written several songs but haven't actually played a single one.
Sometimes, I leave them unfinished,
a song with no punchline forever.
