中学英語の教科書に登場する単語・文法を、そのまま歌詞にした学習アルバムです。東京書籍 NEW HORIZON 1 に完全準拠し、他の教科書をお使いの方にも対応した単元表を各曲に用意しています。
全12曲は、少年カイと相棒バード、そして海辺で出会う少女ミナの物語としてつながっています。中1で習うbe動詞・一般動詞・現在進行形・助動詞canなどの文法を、物語の展開に沿って自然に学べる構成です。
Track 13「千単文 〜第一楽章〜」は、中学1年で習う語彙594語をすべて1曲に収めたボーナストラック。約6分で、教科書1年分の単語が駆け抜けます。全3学年をあわせた三部作を通して聴けば、約19分で中学3年間・1,486語を一周する設計です。
