Esc/ape will release their 2nd EP titled ';' (semicolon). The artist is gaining attention as a 'former limit-teaching rapper,' with their videos on TikTok receiving about 190,000 views. This work features lyrics and composition crafted meticulously by Esc/ape themselves, while the recording, mixing, and mastering are handled by 'Mojo,' who, despite being an artist, runs a studio and works on over 50 songs a month. Additionally, the third track of this EP, 'Because there was a request,' is handled by N4rU, who worked on the tracks of the 1st EP. Although this track was taken down once, it has been re-written and composed in response to strong listener demand. Esc/ape, who is a former teacher and identifies as a person with mental illness and a child of a religious background, expresses the emotions they experienced while suffering from illness through a variety of flows, like the fluctuations of their mental state. On the day of the digital release, around 22:00, the promotional video for the same song will be distributed across various social media platforms.
