"Free and colourful music that invites listeners to a world of extraordinary experiences." RINA's first all-original piano solo album, "Transparent Blue," is an album that embodies the phrase "transparent blue," a word that symbolizes freedom. RINA aims to deliver free and colourful music that transcends genres. Her original songs, filled with a rich fantasy not confined to the boundaries of music genres, feel jazz while singing melodiously and occasionally playing rhythmic sounds. Her original songs are captured by the transparency of her sound, captivating the listener's heart and never letting go. This album is a must-listen for anyone who needs healing and hope after the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the latest recording of all-original works created by RINA's unique expression. The album includes the ending themes of the television information programs NEWS545 and NEWS930 on TV Saitama. "In the colourful world of music, RINA's album transforms short stories into chapters, giving listeners a sense of satisfaction as if they had finished listening to a suite," says Jazz Japan editor-in-chief Takafumi Mimori. In her debut work, RINA described her piano as "jazz without additives," but her innocent pianism has now reached the level of sharing joy with listeners. We are keen to see how RINA, a new successor who follows in Masaaki Ozone's and Hiromi Uehara's footsteps, will continue to progress.
