''The cheer became the wind.''
The song that united the crowd at the sold-out 2nd one-man live ''Hyuu Hyuu'' is finally here.
''Hyu Hyu!'' is more than the sound of the wind.
It's a universal cry -- a burst of joy that escapes when your heart moves before your mind.
This track is overflowing with that pure impulse:
''This is fun! I love this!''
When you feel trapped by ''I have to'' or ''I should,''
let yourself move freely, creatively, and honestly toward what you truly love.
Play pulls people in. Joy is contagious.
This feels like the beginning of music itself.
Hiyou is a Tokyo-based artist, songwriter, and composer who pushes the boundaries of genre, blending pop, jazz, classical, and electronica into deeply emotional, cinematic soundscapes. His music combines translucent, heartfelt vocals with improvisational piano and intricate production, creating a unique sonic experience that ''paints landscapes in your memory.'' Raised on classical piano, Hiyou discovered improvisation and composition in his teens before studying advanced music theory and composition at Toho College of Music. This foundation allows him to fuse technical precision with a sense of wonder, turning personal stories and vivid imagery into music. In 2024, he released his debut album Hikoushou (Flight Chapter), a concept album based on the idea: ''A fish that longed to fly will leap again, no matter how many times it falls.'' His songs invite listeners into an intimate yet expansive world--one that feels both nostalgic and full of discovery. Hiyou continues to evolve as an artist, crafting works that bridge fantasy and reality, while preparing for his third major live performance in Tokyo in 2025.
