イスラエル出身、歌唱からサウンドメイクまでこなすマルチアーティスト、J.Lamottaすずめ。"すずめ" というニックネームは、過去彼女が体験した、日本文化とのつながりから名付けられたもの。モロッコ人の両親の元、幼い頃からイスラエルの伝統音楽やジャズ、レゲエ、ヒップホップなど様々な音楽にのめり込み、その才能を開花させた。ベルリン在住時はよりジャズやソウルの文脈で活動をしていた (過去2回 Blue Note Tokyoで公演経験あり) が、今年リリースしたアルバム「Asulin」以降、彼女が持つモロッコ音楽へのルーツに立ち返り、音楽表現の幅をさらに広げている。
