Ahead of their sixth album, BATTEN GIRLS unveil "BATTEN Na LOVE", a new track written and composed by Aoi Yamazaki and arranged by Tomohiro Sumikama- the duo behind Juice=Juice's "More! Mi Amore."

This new love song captures the awkward, contrary feelings of someone who struggles to be honest with the person they like most. Blending humor with bittersweet emotion, the lyrics portray the bravado of blurting out "I have a boyfriend" and the frustration of not knowing how to ask for affection. The chorus plays on "batten", meaning an "×" mark, and the Kyushu dialect word "batten", meaning "but" - a fitting twist for a love full of mixed signals.

    スターダストプロモーションの女性アイドルセクション「STAR PLANET」所属の7人組グループ。グループ名の「ばってん」は、主に九州地方 で使われる方言から来ており、九州の魅力を全国に届け、九州と日本全国を“つなぐ ”活動を行う。 宗像市観光大使(2016年4月〜)を務めるなど、福岡に根ざした活動にも力を入れながら2020年6月にはプライベートレーベル「BATTEN Records」を立ち上げ、同年10月リリースのアルバム「ふぁん」収録の「OiSa」は2021年4月度有線CANお問合せランキング1位を獲得した他、YouTubeでの再生回数も512万回を突破し、全国的にロングヒットで話題に。
