「誰かの呼ぶ声に応える」そんな思いを込めて名付けられた”やまびこ”が2025年4月14日、自身の誕生日にファーストミニアルバム「エンパワメント」をリリースする。
本作は作詞を”やまびこ”自身が手がけ、制作には、Akashic Records LLCが全面協力を行った。
福祉に関する勉強中に知った本作のタイトル。「エンパワメント」には「力を与える」、「一人一人が本来の力を発揮する」などの意味が込められていて、自身の経験をもとに力強く表現した。
”やまびこ”にしか作ることのできない曲で人々の心に寄り添い、心の「居場所」を作る。自信を失った時には「おまえはまちがってない」、そう思わせてくれるだろう。
そして、この作品がまた誰かの「きっかけ」になることを願って、今日も”やまびこ”は幸せのために応え続ける。

    The origin of the name "Yamabiko" (echo) comes from a desire to respond to the silent cries of someone shouting "Help!". Starting his career as a rapper through cyphers allowed him to express the feelings he had been holding onto. Somewhere along the way, this turned into a desire to deliver words to someone. This debut work, "Kikkake" (Trigger), by [Yamabiko]... may it become a trigger for someone else as well.
