The princess smiled and fate was set in motion

In her eyes was the whole world

The engagement of a brave man and a princess

A brave man promised a future

Everyone was blessed until that night

Suddenly the princess was kidnapped

The demon king returned The kingdom was in turmoil

The brave man went to his death with a mission

But fate was cruel

A vision of evil filled the air

A false sight that bewildered the mind

I saw the image of the Demon King

The blade that cut through the king stained with blood

The brave man stood still

Behind the door soldiers cried out

"The king's killer! The demon king!"

A brand of betrayal was carved

The people spat and honor was turned to ridicule

The friend who trusted was silenced

Love turned to a blade

The one who set it all up was my former best friend

The one who kidnapped the princess and had the king killed

It was only jealousy an unwinnable jealousy that drove him mad

I had no choice but to slay the phantom of evil

In her last words the princess said

"You are the Demon King

Who does not understand the suffering of the defeated!"

And so she took her own life

For what? For whom?

Nothing could be saved nothing remained

No companionship no love not even the world she believed in

All that was left was hatred

There was no Demon King

Then there was no choice but to become the "Demon King"

The people trembled and the soldiers drew their swords

From the moment I was called the "Demon King"

The world became my enemy

My former friends

The peace I had hoped for

Are now coming to take my life

A castle in flames temples burnt to the ground

Thousands of prayers went unheeded in the night

To take back all that was taken from me

With a name heavier than loneliness

Seeking answers no one knows

With blood and tears I test the world

Now I am neither legend nor hero

I am the symbol of evil

And yet I live

In perdition I carry my will

And turn the scars of betrayal

Into questions for the world
