The new solo album by saxophonist Hiroshi Suzuki.
In collaboration with photographer Maki Takagi, this ambitious work features all newly composed pieces, blending flute, clarinet, and saxophones in layered textures.
Suzuki has performed with Yasuaki Shimizu, Otomo Yoshihide, Lisa Ono, and Masaki Hayashi, and is a central member of ensembles such as Chanchiki Tornade and Tokyo Chutei-iki, active both in Japan and abroad. As a composer and studio musician, he has contributed to hundreds of recordings.
Takagi worked at Zipangu Records, known for contemporary, world, and traditional Japanese music. She then became independent and founded the label otografia. This album is its first release.
