  • Toshiyuki Honda

    Saxophonist, composer/arranger, producer, visiting professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1978, when he was in college, he released his first leader album "BURNIN' WAVES". Since then, he has performed with well-known musicians in Japan and abroad. Saxophonist representing Japan. In particular, his soprano saxophone has an established reputation for the beauty of its tone, and there is no one to surpass him. As a composer and arranger, he is well known for his versatility in movies such as "A Taxing Woman " (directed by Juzo Itami) and "Metropolis" (directed by Rintaro), as well as TV dramas, commercials, movies, and classical music. . His latest work is "GEIDAI PLAYS HONDA" (22), a collaboration with the Tokyo University of the Arts Special Wind Orchestra. On the Crescent label, he participated in the original albums "SONGS OF THE MILKEYWAY" and "SMILE!" and the soundtracks "Kiseki" and "Kiseki 2".

    Shusei Murai <Composer and pianist> Studied at Berklee College of Music after graduating from university. Started music career in Japan from 1993. Active composer of NHK program "Somewhere Street", animations, documentaries, etc. Have released 4 solo albums as a pianist. Live tours with popular artists have been very successful. The Crescent label has released four solo albums "In the air, In the water" "Home" "Step Forward" and "Impressions", as well as the "Merged Images" series, a collection of theme songs and insert songs for NHK-TV programs such as " Somewhere Street", and soundtracks.

  • Minako "mooki" Obata

    Singer and songwriter. A demothete he created while he was in college caught the ears of people in the music industry, and he made his professional debut after graduation. IN 1995, The first album "WE HAVE A DREAM" was released. Since then, he has released three original albums. In addition to his solo career, he also provides music as a writer, participates in tours and recordings as a chorus, and works as a vocal direction and vocal coach. He wrote and sang the theme song for the movie "Metropolis" (directed by Rintaro). He was in charge of the music for "Mai Mai Miracle " (directed by Susunao Katabuchi). He has also provided music for TV anime "Black Lagoon" and "Kaiba" and NHK morning drama "Tsubasa".
