Artist Profile
Namano Namae
Namanonamae is a Japanese music creator. Having grown up familiar with the internet, they encountered music during their adolescence through the platform Niconico Douga, which led them to begin composing. They draw significant influence from the Vocaloid music of that era, as well as guitar-driven and alternative rock -particularly the style often associated with the "Rockin' On" scene. Through catchy melodies and a diverse approach to sound design, they express both the "real world" as viewed from the perspective of the internet and the inner landscapes of their own mind. In recent years, alongside releasing their own Vocaloid-based tracks, they have also provided music for various vocalists and smartphone games.
