Tenkei/GORE

"Tenkei" and "GORE" are the first songs under the name ASAGI in about nine years, and these four songs, including the coupling songs, were written in a hurry for a two-day limited live performance to be held during Golden Week from May 2nd to 3rd, 2025. The black and white visuals that connect the world with the previous works "ANPSI" and "Shikabane-no-oja" are exactly the royal style that ASAGI has been following for many years. Since D has been on an indefinite hiatus and in recent years he has been devoted to harmony under the name Asagi, there are surely many fans who will be delighted. ASAGI's unique worldview, which goes back and forth between band and solo, is sure to excite many fans with the concept of returning to the origin. What kind of world will the ASAGI world, which has been consistent without wavering, show us next? This time, the guests are also a lineup of artists who have shaken up the scene. Three members will be participating as guests for the first time in ASAGI, Die (DIR EN GREY) on guitar, and Aki (SID) and KOHTA (PIERROT / Angelo) on bass. Other skilled members who are already familiar with Asagi's works have also gathered. The lineup includes Sakito (NIGHTMARE / JAKIGAN MEISTER), K-A-Z (Sads / DETROX / STEALTH / Kaikigesshoku), HIRO (La'cryma Christi) on guitar, Hajime Okano and Hitoki (Kuroyume) on bass, and Shinya (DIR EN GREY), Junji (SIAM SHADE / BULL ZEICHEN 88), Sakura-Sakurazawa Yasunori (gibkiy gibkiy gibkiy / Rayflower / THE MADCAP LAUGHS / ZIGZO), and HIROKI (drums), making for a stellar lineup. It's amazing that such a gorgeous work was created in such a short time before the already announced summer tour. However, for ASAGI, who lives forever in the fleeting moments given to people, it may be said to be "Sounds like him" in a sense.
